Hijabi’s of New York

Growing up in a post 9/11 world as a hijabi woman, I was constantly bombarded by negative representations and perceptions of my religious identity. Hijabi’s of New York is an attempt to shed light on the lived experiences of Muslim hijabi women, and to convey how we are also human.
